SHMIS

SHMIS is the short name for the Society of Heads of Independent Schools. The society has a membership of 99 schools in the UK, with additional overseas members in Ghana, Kenya, India, Slovakia and Lebanon. The Head Teachers meet together three times a year and provide a mutually supportive network. A number of committees meet regularly to discuss educational topics and keep members informed of current developments and initiatives in the world of education.
